Please see details. A bit frustrating. Job done.

This is the correct part, but this strut doesn't come with a dust boot. The instructions state to use the dust boot on my car. This part does not fit the factory dust boot of a 1996 Geo Metro. I do not know about other years you may want to go to the store and check that information. We went to Advanced Auto parts. The clerk looked up the correct dust boot to fit this strut. I bought the part and paid $23.. ( walmart.com sells the part for $19.97) I purchased two one for each side of the car. Totaling $50 and some change for right and left struts. You may want to shop to find this part sold with the dust boot. Depending on the the price and convenience of assembly to your car. My husband stated the boot should be included. Please see my photo attached this is the correct additional part you need. After assembly the job is done, and everything is in good working order. Best wishes.
