Penn Battalion Inshore Spinning Fishing Rod

Bought these to replace a pair of Dobbins rods that have delicate tips. I like the cork grips and the contour plastic/rubber knob between the upper cork bit and the reel seat. This provides a comfortable meld between the rod and hand when walking the dog with topwater lures. Definitely a step up from the Squadron series.

I first purchased Penn Battilion spinning Rods last season. I matched them up to Penn Battle reels, an d I caught over 100 Stripers of various sizes to 44- pounds with these combos on my Montauk Charter boat last season. Looking forward to more of the same with my new rods.
