18,000 BTU Big Buddy Portable Propane Heater (No Fan)

The way it lights is more difficult than the regular buddy heater I have. I have only tried it so far with one 1 lb propane bottle and it works for the first 2 settings out of 3 total settings so low and medium. My reg. buddy only has a low and high (or med on this one). Look forward to using it more but still using my reg. buddy heater till it gets colder. Wish it was easier to light.

I set this heater up in our sunroom (~140 sq. ft. ) which has access to our home through a sliding glass door. Although the sunroom is insulated, the room stay 10 or so degrees below the 70 °F inside. On low setting, this heater makes our sunroom very comfortable to sit and read. I used it first with batteries and ran for 3+ hours (on low) with the fan on to see if it would last. No problems there. Our weather here 6,200 feet ranges from below zero to mid 30's. I bought the ac power accessories so when power is available, I wouldn't deplete the batteries. Although I bought this for emergency power outages, I am now using it when I need a nice quiet place to read or look out at our view of the lake. Very nice heater.
