Elizabeth & Larry by Marilyn Sadler is a tender tale about two best friends, an old lady and an alligator. The trouble is that neighbors stare at Larry and make him feel different. Larry becomes so sad and distracted that he and Elizabeth make a decision that changes their lives, but not their friendship. Wonderfully engaging for young Deaf and hearing children.
