Firm and REALLY holds up! The closest firmness to this would be synthetic leather, it holds its shape in the same way. I've been looking for this and it's so confusing to search the kind you want of fusible fleece! There's thousands of them. I got it to make a little box hanged on the wall close to the floor, its for my extention cords outlet, i'd like it off the floor. Again, this is really firm, get it if you want to use it for boxes, baskets, etc.. not for bags The cover has a picture of a notebook cover.. I think it's too firm to use for that purpose.
