Fruit of the Loom Ankle Socks, 6 Pairs (Big Girls)

6 pair of black ankle socks come in the pack. They are a nice dark black with fun squiggle lines on the bottoms in green, yellow, peach, pink, blue and purple. The socks feel thicker than most socks, but not too hot, just more durable/thicker. They have a reinforced bottom and toe. My daughter says they are “the softest socks she has.” I asked if they were two warm because they are thick or if they keep her feet too hot, and she said, “no.” She is 5 years old. These are ankle socks, so they come up higher than a tennis shoe, and their elastic is tight enough not to fall or ride down during wear of the sock.

We are really pleased with these socks. I was happy to have black socks that still had some added girliness to them. I wanted to get my girls some black socks because their white socks were starting to look terrible after just one or two wears. The bottoms of them would be black and stained so I thought black socks might help avoid that. Although these are black they still have a splash of color which I love. My girls have to have everything match these days, all the way down to their socks, so we love that they have brightly colored squigly lines on them. Just enough color to make them girly and cute but not so much that if I happen to not be able to find it's match one morning it isn't going to be obvious. The first thing I noticed when I held these socks was how incredibly soft they are. They feel silky, smooth, and super comfy. The lower portion of the sock, where the bottom of their feet go, is slightly thicker with a little extra cushioning for added comfort. These are really great quality and super comfortable socks that your kids are sure to love. They wash up well without shrinkage and hold their shape even after multiple washings. We have washed them a few times already and so far no pilling. They still look exactly like they did when we took them out of the package. My kids like them and they seem they like will last. Great value for some great socks.
