Tincture of benzoin skin prep spray is a skin prep spray that enhances the adhesion of wound care tape and appliances (e.g. ostomy items, condom catheters) while protecting sensitive skin from adhesives and body fluids. While its main ingredient is isopropyl alcohol, its second ingredient is Sumatra Benzoin – a balsamic resin obtained from the bark of several species of trees in the genus Styrax.
Tincture of benzoin skin prep spray is a skin prep spray that enhances the adhesion of wound care tape and appliances (e.g. ostomy items, condom catheters) while protecting sensitive skin from adhesives and body fluids.
