Item and Shipping are Aggravating

The shipping is split into 2 pieces but not as you'd expect- trundle in one, daybed in the other. All the pieces are scattered in the 2 shipments and the 2 shipments are 3-5 days apart!. It cannot be assembled until Walmart decides to get it all to you. Annoying! Open back on the upper part and things slide down between them...especially if you only have the standard 6" mattress in the frame. Careful on this one you will spend another $200+ on the mattresses to make it work.

color correct

the description states this is Black. the boxes it came shipped in said Brown on the outside but the item inside was in fact Black. phew. decent price for free shipping included. arrived in 2 days. fair/average quality. would have liked more padding.

top mattress is not well supported

We bought for use in guest room. it looks nice, but frame under top mattress bent and three slats came out after being sat on for a few hours by 2 eleven-year-olds playing video games. We will be adding plywood to better support top mattress, which should work, but find it very frustrating to have to add a "fix" to a brand new item. by the time we added mattresses and pillows, we had a fairly good amount of money into this bed. In the photo, I have reattached one slat already; The metal bar down center is bent in middle, but hard to see that in photo.
