Established since 1920 in Viscomtat, a small mountain village not far from Thiers, the cradle and capital city of French cutlery, Jean Dubost designs, manufactures and shapes a wide range of flatware and knives. Internationally renowned, the Laguiole Jean Dubost trademark is famous for the manufacture of a vast range of Laguiole items (cutlery, flatware, kitchenware and gifts). Jean Dubost uses materials of the very finest quality such as wood (olive, juniper, wenge …), real horn and acrylic. Jean Dubost has also added a touch of novelty to its products, thus offering its customers a vast choice of colors and designs to meet the constant change in worldwide trends. In the heart of the French countryside, the Dubost family has been creating fine cutlery for four generations. The design of this carving set was inspired by a shepherd's tool first manufactured in the village of Laguiole in the 19th century.
