    excellent product

    This is the second of these chargers I have purchased. The first was to charge the battery used for the trolling motor on our boat. It (motor) gets used a lot on an average fishing day and this unit quickly charges the battery back to full overnight. This second unit is to charge the starting/running battery which doesn't get to full charge from the engine stator as we don't run the engine very long on a standard day. The chargers "feel" like quality (which they are) with a tough, rugged casing and being waterproof are ideal in the wet conditions of a boat or other outdoor situation. Having 3 ways to connect to the battery is a nice bonus. The maintainer side of the charger comes in handy so that we can keep our batteries in a fully charged state over the winter months which extends the battery life. Using AGM batteries that cost $250+ each that is an important factor. The first charger has been in use on the trolling battery for 4 years and it (battery) is in as good a state as the day we bought it so when we got the second AGM, we got the same charger!

    Heavy duty

    My opinion is that this is built to last, it may be around long enough for me to will it to my kids..... I think it puts B&D plus all the others I researched to shame...
