The blade is semi-supported by an internal rod, in a manner that allows its 4 in x 1 in unsupported tip to safely flex. The 4 in grip of a sword is padded with the same foam rubber as the blade, to keep the fencers hand in place. Latex free sword comes with an activity guide.
