Best Air Purifer!
I purchased 2 of the Germ Guardian purifiers. They purify an 870 square foot room once every hour. I have one purifier in my TV room, a 224 square foot room. Therefore, the purifier in that room cleans the air every 16 minutes. These purifiers have a true HEPA filter and carbon pre filter that capture 99.97% of the particles down to .1 micron size in the air. The air purifiers are designed by American engineers and are EXTREMELY durable (not cheaply made or flimsy) and are attractive. In addition, they have a UV-C light you can turn on or off which will kill viruses, bacteria, mold, etc. in the air making the air safer to breathe. I live in a rural area by farms and a CAFO that produce a tremendous amount of dirt, etc. in the air. I dusted prior to setting up the 2 purifiers in an effort to verify if the purifiers cleaned/purified the air by removing the particulate matter in the air. I was astounded by how much they removed from the air in just 1 day. I placed the 2nd purifier in my bedroom to replace a different brand, inefficient, non Energy Star air purifier. The Germ Guardian Energy Star purifier was so quiet even on its highest speed, level 5. It so easy to sleep. Both Germ Guardian air purifiers removed so much particles from the air that I personally found it easier to breathe in both rooms! I have been vacuuming the carbon pre filters in an effort to extend the "life" of the combination filter (HEPA plus carbon pre filter). When I read the one flyer in the Germ Guardian box about Guardian Technologies which said: "The guardian of your family's air quality for a happier, healthier home." I hoped it would be true. I can definitely say it is. The air quality inside my home has definitely improved. It is easier to breathe, I'm not coughing anymore. I feel better, there's hardly any dust settling on my furniture as it is being captured by the Germ Guardian purifiers. This makes me extremely happy. I intend to purchase more of these air purifiers. Best purchase ever!

Efficiency of Air Purifiers.
i have been using the Guardian Air purifiers for over two years now and I am pleased with the quality of air that flows inside my home. The units clean the air of particles of dust, and other dangerous pollutants that get into the house and are transported to the many areas by the A/C unit. I think the incorporation of the UV light into the units is an additional and very important safety feaure.
