This is so easy to use. Just put (6) batteries in EACH, that are included. Just twist the top body piece & put your desired corn spice in the refillable mill. I used Kosher salt. & White pepper Corns. There is a way you can change from ultra-fine to coarse grind too. Tip over and voila! It does all the work for you!!! AND it has a cool BUILT-IN LIGHT! The blue light helps you see the amount of spice you grind. Comes in a nice package if you'd like to give someone as gift. It would make a perfect gift for just about anyone. I like these so much; I'm going to buy more for other corn spices. And I'll be buying some for many people this year for Christmas!

I did not have any peppercorns or rock salt to grind but did use a few cofffee beans. The coffee beans grouned great. The Gravity KSL Gravity Electric Salt and Pepper Grinder operates when the grinders are pointed downward. As advertised these would make a great gift.

KSL Battery Operated Salt And Pepper Set Ok, this set is a game changer ! They are cordless and use batteries and also come with a spice spoon in the box! It's black and has a blue light to see how many spices have been ground. It's packaged perfectly and would make a great gift in the box it comes in . Adjustable settings make it easy to select the ground type and coarseness, and it can be operated with just one hand! Definitely getting several for presents this year!
