Not the same size as original

When the Dorman replacement part was installed, it was 3" too short to connect to the rear connector. It was resolved by removing the door panel and rearranging the factory installed wiring harness. It would have saved 2 hours of labor if the replacement part was the same length as the original. When finally installed, the door worked the same as before the repair was made. Apparently the harness I replaced was not the problem so, I guess I,ll have to take it to the dealer and pay their price to get it repaired properly.
