Ozark Trail 1/4 Ounce Frog Popper Lure - Purple

Hooks are very sharp, hackletail is very nice with glitter, plastic seems durable, and has very loud rattles/bb's. the translucent iridescent sides are nice touch, with the red mouth area and white bottom insuring strikes from predatory species. I bought a smaller version of this popper, name brand, that was double the cost. I've been killing it with that lure, I think this lure will get even more strikes with the loud rattles. key is to let it sit and float, twitch it every so often or a slow steady retrieve with constant twitching. Give it some hard pops to spit that water out for some attention. Try these late in the day, and at night but will also work anytime of the day.

I like these lures. The price is right, the quality is there relative to what you pay. Realistic enough color schemes to attract and catch fish. Solid, dependable fishing kit for everyone. I dig it.
