I use these notebooks for personal and professional notetaking. The covers are tough and durable, the cloth covering the binding gives it a smooth look and protects the spirals, and I use different colors to distinguish personal from work notebooks. The movable tab divider is handy for separating current notes from "archive" notes, and I use the dividers from previous notebooks in my current notebooks to have even more sections. The strap helps keep everything contained whether I put the notebook in my backpack, laptop bag, or purse. The paper quality is good for ballpoint, gel, or felt tip pens. Definitely my favorite notebooks.
