Read and follow instructions. Temporary "black henna" tattoos may increase your risk of allergy. The preparation may cause serious inflammation of the skin in some persons, a skin allergy test must be completed 48 hours before your use this product, even if your have used coloring products before. Buy the product in advance to allow for the 48 hours allergy test. This product is not to be used on children.Safety instructions: do not color your hair if: your have a rash on your face or sensitive, irritated and damaged scalp.your have ever experienced any reaction after coloring your hair. your have experienced a reaction to a temporary "black henna" tattoo in the past. Wait at least 14 days after relaxing, bleaching or perming before coloring. Avoid contact with eyes and rinse eyes immediately if product comes into contact with them. Wear suitable gloves. Please follow the box instructions closely, but here are a few important points your might want to know right now about this hair color kit: Our hair experts advise not washing your hair right before your color it. Apply the Color Effects Platinum⢠formula when your hair is clean and dry. For All Over Lightening Application: After your put on gloves, work the formula into the length of your hair, starting an inch down from your scalp. your'll apply the formula to the roots after 20-30 minutes. Check your hair every 5-10 minutes until you've reached your platinum peak. Do not exceed 60 minutes. For Split Dye, Peek a Boo Highlights, or Blonde Streaks: Section the hair your would like to lighten away from the hair your would like to keep darker prior to following instructions to âAll Over Lightening Application.â For Root Touch-Ups: After your put on gloves, apply the formula to only the root regrowth area. Check on your hair every 5-10 minutes until you've reached your platinum peak. Do not exceed 60 minutes. Once your desired lightness is reached, rinse hair, shampoo, and apply violet conditioner for anti-brass results.

Great for me
Everyone is different and the same thing won't work on everyone, but boy does this work for me! I have dark brown hair and it got it up to a pretty bright blonde, bits of it actually were platinum but not all of it (it took a little time to put on so some of it had longer to work. User issue, not the product.)

This was a pleasant surprise! For an at home bleach kit, it works great! I cannot get over how soft my hair still feels after having this sit on my head for 45 minutes! I achieved the level of Blonde that I wanted/needed for a fashion color to take well, %26 it did! Also, this kit is ammonia free, so no choking on fumes! I will absolutely use this again if I need to lift my natural color. Please note that I used this product on natural, untreated fine hair.
