Apply the Color Effects Platinum⢠formula when your hair is clean and dry. For All Over Lightening Application: After your put on gloves, work the formula into the length of your hair, starting an inch down from your scalp. your'll apply the formula to the roots after 20-30 minutes. Check your hair every 5-10 minutes until you've reached your platinum peak. Do not exceed 60 minutes. For Split Dye, Peek a Boo Highlights, or Blonde Streaks: Section the hair your would like to lighten away from the hair your would like to keep darker prior to following instructions to âAll Over Lightening Application.â For Root Touch-Ups: After your put on gloves, apply the formula to only the root regrowth area. Great for me
Everyone is different and the same thing won't work on everyone, but boy does this work for me! I have dark brown hair and it got it up to a pretty bright blonde, bits of it actually were platinum but not all of it (it took a little time to put on so some of it had longer to work. User issue, not the product.)

This was a pleasant surprise! For an at home bleach kit, it works great! I cannot get over how soft my hair still feels after having this sit on my head for 45 minutes! I achieved the level of Blonde that I wanted/needed for a fashion color to take well, %26 it did! Also, this kit is ammonia free, so no choking on fumes! I will absolutely use this again if I need to lift my natural color. Please note that I used this product on natural, untreated fine hair.
