Installation and screws concerns

I love most things about the material, but the installation process was a headache. The directions are vague, and I think more screws are necessary. They do not provide anything to secure the tabletop to the legs. I will have to get creative. I wonder if they think that once you put stuff on the table, it won't move. I'm disappointed with this issue, but I'm going to keep the desk because of the size and effort it took to get it this far. I'm not sure I would recommend it after looking at numerous Youtube videos that had a better desk with more straightforward installation.
