I don't play the keyboard very well but this one makes my skills sound enhanced! It plays very well. It's portable so it requires six AA batteries. You can also just plug it up, it comes with the cord. It has 400 tones and 77 rhythms. The keyboard lights up red while touching the keys. It's equipped with a Micro-B USB port for connecting to other devices. It has a screen to let you see what you have selected to play. It has volume control and touch response. It also comes with a nice booklet or sheet holder. It has a nice handle built in for carrying. It's equipped for a pedal insert as well and so much more. This will be the perfect gift for you or someone else. Don't hesitate on this one.

This piano is great for beginners especially because it boots confidence and give you the feeling of being being able to play right out of the box. The keys light up for easy to follow lessons. Theere are so many featured songs /styles into explore. My one gripe is that there is a turn dial to scroll through to find each of these songs/ modes. We have another Casio keyboard that has all of the styles on individual buttons so it's easy to pick what you want at te touch of a button . Personal preference here definitely depends on how you like to access the features. My son didn't mind scrolling. There is a mode for lessons that are very easy to customize depending on the level you want - easy , advanced, right had left hand or both etc. Additionally there are input connections at the back so you can connection your computer via USB and every parent's dream ---- Headset connection port hahah. Any beginner, child or adult will lenjoy this keyboard. It's also portable as it works with batteries as well as can be charged.
