HTC Vive 3 in 1 Cable

My HTC Vive started having an issue where the synchronization between the two screens would become instantly (and nauseatingly) apparent, which would look like the single image would split into two separate images. After doing a good deal of research, it seems that the 3 in 1 cable was the likely culprit, which I confirmed this to be the most likely cause by unplugging the HDMI cable from the hub, which would reset the image and regain the synchronization between screens for a short amount of time. Amazon sells a third party cable from overseas for the same price as this authentic cable, so this purchase was my preferred choice, especially with the free shipping offer (something I only get by paying for a Prime account at Amazon). I expected to get the same cable that I was replacing, but with my Vive being an early unit, my cable was the old flat style with three cable running side by side the entire length. This cable is much thinner, which brings a noticeable weight reduction when wearing the (already quite heavy) headset. This makes long play sessions much more enjoyable and I also find that when playing games that require a lot of Room Scale movement (Budget Cuts, Vanish Realms, etc.), there is a considerable reduction in having to do 'cable management' when playing. To sum this up, not only is this an authentic replacement cable from HTC, but it's an upgrade from the original flat 3 in 1 cable that has made my VR game time even more enjoyable than before. I'm pleased with this purchase and a big thumbs up to Walmart.com for beating out the competition that's selling a third party product for the same price with an authentic product!
