This amplifier works good for the price

This amplifies sounds very well, I use it on level 2 on the volume control. Do not expect any special features it amplifies all sounds, so it is best to hold it with the microphone facing what you want to hear. I use it in the car when road noise is loud and hold it facing the person I am with and it works very good. It is worth the price to see if a hearing aid would help me. Since I have used this amplifier I now know I need a real hearing aid and will look for a noise cancelling and voice amplifying model like Elehear Beyond, a reasonable priced model.

I was dismayed at first because I was hearing feedback distortion when the unit was near my phone or flashlight THEN I CAREFULLY READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! Changed the settings from T for telephone to M for ambient environment. And then it's remarkable how clearly the sound is amplified. The VOLUME is excellent. The earpieces are comfortable. The dark turquoise case is sturdy and sleek. Once I attended to the proper instructions, it's 5 stars for sure.
