perfect, air is directed up unlike our previous unit so less disturbing to those sitting nearby, also has "Swing" option for getting air farther away, but once up and running, it cools a few rooms fine on auto, which also shuts off fan at night, and closes up when not in use

Great unit, I like the way everything is set up. The unit is quiet, which is a big plus for using in the bedroom. I did not like the double speak about BTUs. Sam's websight says 13000 BTUs up to 600 sq ft. The box it came in says 13000 but also says 8000 BTUs DOE. For all you old people out there this unit is 8000 BTUs. Checking on the web 8000 BTUs covers 350 sq ft .

So far so good. It has been running for a week know...Keeps my Master bedroom so comfortable. Hope it will hold up in the long run and I'm waiting to see what my electric bill will be. The remote control is great because early in the morning it starts getting cold and I turn down the fan without getting out of bed. I do recommend this brand.
