HELP!! Is the colors sold separately

My son got the mess free painter for Christmas He loves it I love it only problem I have is replacing the paint, I thought all is clear so maybe we can borrow from another section, well no didn't work. Turns out each color section is that color. Let's say he wants to paint with yellow, tho it is empty, he still has a good bit of red left, scoop a little out for the yellow, now because there was a bit yellow left we now are painting with orange. It would be ridiculous to have to purchase a new kit to replace the paint, the paper is sold separately, is the paint sold separately as well. Can anyone tell me if crayon sells the colors separately.

They loved it!

Bought this for my 3yr old Granddaughter. She loved it and so did my 8yr old Granddaughter. It does take a bit for the paint to show the color but they both still thought it was a lot of fun. The 3yr old appears to be a lefty and the brush was a bit awkward. But they discovered that you can use the paint as finger paints, so that pretty much solved the problem! All in all - I would buy this again!
