Funko Games Back To The Future: Back In Time Strategy Game

This is an entertaining strategy game which my whole family loved. The recommended age is 10 and older so my 8 year old needed some help but it still wasn't too hard for her. My older son and the rest of my family loved this game. The set up of the game takes 10 minutes or so. The rule book explains the set up and rules in detail. The game is good quality. The cards are thick, the clock tower is 3D, the characters are detailed and the rule book has a comic book theme. If you love the movie then you will love this board game because the game is similar to the plot in the movie.

The Back to the Future, Back in Time board game is a game for 2 to 4 players. I am a huge fan of the 80s and the back to the future movie series. Opening the box the first thing I noticed was the detail that went into creating this board game. The quality of the artwork, the details of the pieces and other items are amazing. Even the instruction booklet is based off of a comic book from the original movie and was enjoyable to read through to learn the rules of the game. I would have to say this game is not the easiest to set up or learn but after you played through it and learn all the rules it is very enjoyable. The instruction booklet is lengthy and it does take a little bit of time to get the game set up. There are multiple tiles, dice, characters, the DeLorean, and other items that need to be set up before playing. I also appreciated that they included return tracker to make sure the game flows properly and everyone is aware of the objectives that need to be completed. The thing I like most about this game is that is a cooperative game between you and the other players and you all have a common objective that needs to be accomplished. There are multiple moving parts of this game and multiple objectives that need to be met. I like the complexity of the game and was enjoyed by all my friends who are back to the future fans. Overall the game takes about an hour to an hour and a half to complete. This is a game that needs a lot of explanation to anyone else that would like to join in the game play for the very first time. This is an amazing game that triggers the nostalgia of any back to the future fan or anyone that enjoys cooperative board games.
