The Ritz ironing board is way above and beyond my expectations!!!! Grab this up while it last! I sew a lot and was in need of a super good pad..I looked at a few near $200 and just didn't want to invest that much. Upon recieving this one, I could tell by the weight and texture, that I had made a good choice. If this great purchase ever wears out, I will be a repeat customer, for sure! Ironing without the waffle pattern

I hate gardening but I love ironing. I noticed that a lot of things I ironed recently were acquiring the waffle pattern of my ironing board, because the cover was too thin. I asked AI what to do about this and it recommended that I buy a quality ironing board pad. A little online searching led me to this item. It turns out to be perfect:. It fits my standard ironing board exactly, and it completely eliminates the waffle pattern problem. I just ironed 2 weeks worth of handkerchiefs, and they've never looked better. Ritz Ironing Board Pad

The workmanship on this cover is exceptional. It has a pocket for the tip of the ironing board to slip into, and a string that moves easily within the edge casing to tighten up the cover. The string is then secured with one of those plastic cord locks. Additionally there is an elastic band with alligator clips that goes under the ironing board at about the middle and does not interfere with folding the board. The fabric is coarser than my previous cover but it is well woven and works fine. I was worried about the treatment on the cotton and was planning to hand wash it before use, but it doesn't feel treated or smell funny so I just put it on the board. Even when steam ironing, there was no odor.
