If you installed the new screen, it would not sit in like it should. 1. It might be something inside the trap tht might be preventing it. You can cleaned inside. 2. There is a screw for the lint trap housing to loosen it up to see if tht would help. Now it sits in perfectly. Where's my model number? Models on dryers are usually pretty easy to find. Usually located around the door frame. Simply open the door to your dryer and check for a sticker or plate around the door frame or on the actual interior of the door.
