Product Description  Thera® dimethicone body shield nourishes, moisturizes and provides mild skin protection against irritation from dry, chapped or wet, cracked (but not broken) skin. Available in a convenient, 4-ounce, flip-top tube, this Thera lotion is an ideal choice as a long-lasting daily body moisturizer for people with varying degrees of dry skin.The dimethicone (5%) formula is specifically designed to help normalize the skin and effectively prevent transepidermal water loss (TEWL) by forming a hydrating barrier. The dimethicone body shield helps protect the skin against damage related to dehydration. It also treats the effects of diaper rash and other incontinence-associated dermatitis. The dimethicone formula is complemented by a proprietary vitamin blend including vitamins B, C, and E, and multiple natural compounds, such as bisabolol (commonly known as chamomile) and ginger root extract, which penetrate the skin to help build skin integrity and reduce inflammation. The amino acid blend features compounds less than 500 Daltons in size to effectively penetrate through all layers of the skin.For best results, use with the Thera® moisturizing body cleanser or Thera® foaming body cleanser.Key Features
