It was easy to put together...I would have loved to have a step by step though. I got kinda lost at times. but eventually got it together.
Beautiful finished set. Assembly takes patience!
The tables & chairs look beautiful once put together and look like very high-end pieces of furniture. Assembly was difficult, and I've assembled a lot of home furniture. Not all screws have pre-drilled holes they go into, so a power screw driver or drill is almost essential to get these screwed in, in any kind of efficient way. Some of the bolts -- those tricky Allen bolts -- are inside bored out holes that don't allow you any access except for using the cheap little tool that comes with the set, so no quick work using the power screw driver there, and that makes for belabored work. All in all, well worth it for the price and appearance of the finished product, but assembly takes patience!
Can't Even Give It One Star!! UGH!!
The only thing good about this set is the quality of the wood. The leg stretchers for each chair did not fit at all in the slots...couldn't even use them so the base of each chair is showing holes. The seat cushions could not be fastened to the chairs because the materials provided to fasten them did not fit nor did the instructions provide a solution. I believe the incorrect screws were provided and the dimensions of the seats were crafted incorrectly. Ended up having to buy lots of velcro to stick the cushions to each chair. Absolutely ridiculous!!! It was not worth the $402 dollars that I paid for it. Did not have the time or energy to disassemble it, put it back in the original packaging and ship back, then wa it for a refunD to purchase something else. Once I got creative and pieced together this set, it did look half way decent. Still, I am extremely disappointed because the dimensions for every part for each chair was off. The table was fine minus a few scratches. My overall experience with this purchase was a disaster. I guess the old saying "you get what you pay for" rings true with this.
