Overview
GlowShift’s 10 Color Digital Series 30 PSI Fuel Pressure Gauge is electronically driven and reads low fuel pressure from 0 to 30 PSI. A fuel pressure gauge is important for any truck, allowing you to closely monitor changing pressures to ensure levels are optimal. If you are running fuel pressure levels that are too low and go unnoticed, it could result in a loss of horsepower or damage to the fuel pump and injectors. Parts required for installation are covered with accessories including Fuel Pressure Sensor, Wiring Harnesses and Mounting Hardware.
10 Color Digital Gauge Series
The 10 Color Digital Series features a flat black gauge face with a digital numerical readout for quick glance readings. Each gauge has an ultra-thin design with a depth of 1.32” and an LED display that measures 1.05” x 0.43”. Set the digital display to one of 10 different color options including Blue, Green, Red, Yellow, White, Teal, Purple, Pink, Amber and Orange. You can also activate 10 Color Cycle Mode or 10 Color Fade Mode which utilize all of the featured colors. At startup, Self-Calibration Mode ensures that the gauge is performing optimally. For an easier viewing experience while driving at night, connect the orange wire to the headlight switch source and the gauge will dim 50% when the headlights are on.
Note: This gauge includes a 1/8-27 NPT thread size on the sensor and your vehicle may not come equipped with the same thread size. An additional threading adapter may be required for installation of the sensor. If you are unsure if your application will require additional threading adapters, please contact a GlowShift Technical Support Specialist.
Dodge Cummins Note: A Snubber Valve is required when installing a 30 PSI Fuel Pressure Gauge into a 1986-2012 Dodge Ram Cummins. The Snubber Valve regulates, normalizes and eliminates fuel pressure spikes that are present during the initial ignition and startup on the Dodge Cummins Diesel Engine through the use of a regulator. High pressure fuel system spikes during startup are harmful and may cause early and unexpected failure of electronic fuel pressure sensors and/or sending units for fuel pressure gauges.
GM Duramax Note: If you are installing this gauge to a GM Duramax engine, an aftermarket lift pump is required for the gauge to function properly.
