The mic works well and is very small. Several reviews on another web site mentioned that the wire was very thin and would break too easily. I took out the insurance offer with this purchase which I rarely do.

disappointing

Received the External microphone MC1 today and it does not work. When I plug it into my compilot I get the message Audio Jake that indicates it is recognized. But there is no sound from the mic. I was very hopeful that this would work.
