The socks aren't very stretchy and they aren't a very tight knit. The not stretchy part is kind of odd when you put them on but they feel fine once you get them on. It is a bit loose and I imagine won't take a whole lot to snag them. I've washed some of them and they didn't shrink much. The seam is straight across the end of the socks. I don't mind because I don't like the seam across the top or underneath my toes. All in all for the price they are a good buy.
