Very disappointed

I don't understand how this is 10' of cable. Un-stretched, it amounts to about 2' of cable. If you *really* stretch the cable you can get maybe 5' out of it. Maybe when they say 10' they mean the total length of the cable before it was coiled, but it doesn't come out to a practical 10' by any means. This is in contrast to the cables on my Sony headphones, which have the same advertised cable length, but are long enough for me to get up and walk across the room without taking off my headphones. For all intents and purposes, this cable is shorter than the 3ft straight cable I was trying to replace.
