They can be used in 2 ways.
1. Can be used for cable to connect power source and breadboard. The Stackable banana plugs are pass through so you can plug another set of leads in and have two active pairs at the same time.
That would allow you to quickly use another style lead without having to plug and re-plug leads in.
2. Can be used for test lead. The male head of jumper wire is just right for attaching a multimeter to a breadboard circuit.
It very handy for checking circuits in experimental designs.The wires are very flexible and the connectors work well.
