Armor Helmet, Sutton Hoo

When a 90-foot ship was found in 1939, buried beneath the sand near Suffolk in the River Deben, a rich funeral treasure was discovered. The burial was of the 7th-century Anglo-Saxon king, and it included these decorated helmets, which were the most controversial pieces.
