Best Fenix ever

Gosh, I really feel like I won with this watch, even writing this review a few years later. I've played around with the Fenix 7 (awful) and the Fenix 8 (it's ok, seems like they fixed a few of the problems with the 7), but I'd still pick my 6 any day. The single-band GPS is less accurate, though, so if that's super important to you, you might consider one of the newer watches. I like that this watch still feels like a mountain tool, not like a wrist-mounted iPhone. The only bigger concern I have is battery life -- it will say I have 25 hours of run activity on a full charge, for example, but in reality it's more like 15 (yes, I've tested), but you CAN charge without pausing the activity, so if you're running slow enough it's no big deal :p

Garmin

Obsessed with this purchase! Found features that I didn't know I needed in my life :) keeps me motivated to move and see my progress! Living at altitude I also appreciate the altitude acclimation. Helpful when knowing storms are coming on my hike, so I can head back. Battery life is great, do have issues with pairing text messages to Watch notifications but everything else has been seamless! I would absolutely purchase again.

Fenix 6s solar watch

It does everything as advertised. Have'nt noticed much benefit yet of the solar charging feature. Probably because I am usually wearing long sleeves to protect from UV. Other features are great, in tracking sleep patterns, heart rate, exercise, and general movement. If this is your first smart watch, take the time to familiarize yourself with the features. Garmin has great videos to help you.
