State of the art! Worth the money

I bought an entire set of these to replace the existing smoke detectors for my whole house. Like everyone, we are very busy. Therefore, I fall short even when it comes to my family's safety and replacing smoke detector batteries. These have dual sensors (ion and photoelectric) and will last about 10 years on a lithium battery that does not need to be replaced for the life of the detector. I installed one of them in my basement room where my furnace and water heater are located. Even though these appliances are fairly old and need servicing, the new smoke detector did not false trigger.

Not a "2-Pack"

Obviously, I don't know how well this will perform for the next 10 years so I can only comment on the service. This shows to be a 2-pack. I ordered two, 2-packs (for a total of four alarms. I received two single packs for a total of two alarms. Walmart's customer service was outstanding and sent me another "2-pack". Unfortunately, I received a single alarm (now I have three of the four I ordered). After another online chat, Walmart made it right. Their customer service was again outstanding. I believe this to be a great product, but beware you probably won't get a 2-pack on your first order.
