small parts keeper
5 out of 5 stars review

A place for everything and everything in its place

For years, I was been putting screws, nuts, bolts, washers, springs, etc. in small plasitc bags and these small bags in a wide shallow box. Obviously, every time I needed a bolt, screw, washer, etc. etc. I had to go through all those bags to find what I needed. Then, I found this organizer. I can put all my small parts in their own plastic box and can see what I have in each small box. Not only can I clearly see what I have, I can now take the organizer with me when I do small jobs for my neighbors and have all these 'parts' close at hand. Great tool.....

SIMPLY THE BEST

I have many of these FATMAX® Professional Organizers in my shop. I do a lot of rental maintenance and use these to hold my large assortment Deck Screws, Drywall Screws, Wood Screws, Masonry Fasteners & Loads, Copper Fittings (1/2" to 3/4"), Sink Drain Seals and Rings, Toilet Hardware, Door Knob Hardware (fasteners, latches, and striker plates), and just a slew of other things. I have them because I have to stay organized and mobile. I have yet to have one fail on me. Don't be fooled by those Chinese knock-offs at your local home centers. If you've ever held one of these in your hand you will quickly see the difference in quality. There is just no way the brittle plastic lids or handles of those cheap knock-offs can hold up to the weight of all the cups filled with steel fasteners; like the FATMAX® Professional Organizer can. Less you think I'm a representative; I do have one major complaint. I wish they would sell cups separately, also. In some cases I have no need of the large ones, and in other cases I have need of more of the large ones. Because I bought so many, I was able to swap them around, but I was eventually left with a couple that had mostly large cups and of no use to me. I held onto them in case I damage one by accidentally dropping it from up high or dropping a sledge hammer on it, or something like that. It is a whole lot stronger than it looks, especially for being made out of plastic. Oh ya, in case you're wondering how I store these in my shop. I purchase old TV cabinets at my local thrift stores. Beef up the bottom to accommodate casters. Install metal track on the inside to accommodate several 3/4" project plywood shelves. I install 3/4" aluminum "U" channel on the front and back of each shelf secured with small screws. I shim the shelf with a thick quality clear packing tape so the "U" channel fits snugly (not tight). Oh, I install 3/4" plywood back on all these units in case I want to use them like a room divider. this way I can easily hang things on them. Space is always a premium. I set the Organizers in side-ways and label the side. I also label each cup.
