This B500 fire extinguisher features an aluminum valve with a light- to medium-duty anodized aluminum valve body and an anodized aluminum handle and lever. Designed for longevity, the extinguisher has a durable high gloss polyester powder paint with an all-metal valve construction. The Amerex ABC fire extinguisher utilizes a specially fluidized and siliconized mono ammonium phosphate dry chemical. It chemically insulates class A fires by melting at approximately 350°F and coats the surface to which it is applied. It smothers and breaks the chain reaction of class B fires and will not conduct electricity back to the operator. Equipped with bilingual labels.
