Best 70-200mm in the market.

Pros: Sharp! Sharp! Sharp! Excellent vibration control and awesome color reproduction! Cons: Other thoughts: I tested this lens and the AF is amazing! I get more consistent sharp images with this lens than with the Canon 70-200mm 2.8 IS II.

Not what I expected

Pros: F2.8 lens Cons: Slow focusing at 200mm focal lengthNot as sharp as Nikon Other thoughts: While the lense is of a solid construction and offers max appetite of F2.8, I was disappointed with it's performance. The pictures were a little bit less sharp compared to the ones shot with Nikon 70-200 F4. My biggest issue with the the lense was that it sometimes would not focus at 200mm. First, I had to zoom out toward 70mm focal length to allow the lense to focus and then focus back on the subject. That issue mostly occurred during indoor shooting with incandescent lightning. However, a few times, even in day light, camera would not focus at all. Possible, I received a defective sample, but based on my experience, I will only be buying Nikon lenses from now on.
