This clock is not only retro looking and functioning, it also works well. I like the gold color because it goes with my other decor, and the old fashioned bells are a loud alarm that wakes me even though I'm a heavy sleeper! The face is big enough and the numbers and hands are easy to read. I like the clock so well that I may just order another for another room!

Good clock for the price
The clock arrived with no instructions but is easy to use. Contrary to the info on the Walmart website, it uses one AA battery (not AAA). It makes a tick-tock sound that I did not expect with a battery operated clock, but I'll wait and see if that bothers me at night. I tested the alarm feature- it works and is loud, as advertised. I could be wrong, but I think the lens is plastic, not glass? This reminds me of the alarm clock I had as a kid in the 1970s, though that was a wind-up clock.
