Monoprice cables replaced other manufacturers ill fitting cables.
The Monoprice USB-A to Micro B 2.0 cable replaced two other USB-A to USB B 2.0 cables that did not remain seated properly. The cable is used on a radio scanner. The scanners temperature would rise over time. That caused the two older cables to lose connection which caused the scanner to shut down. The new Monoprice cable stays tightly connected, so the scanner remains operating.

USB Cable that last.
Presently as I write this I am connect to one of the cables. This cable is rugged. It locks into the phone and stays connected. I have been using one of the cables for about a month and have 2 more spares. I recommend this cable for anyone who needs a cable that is thicker than the cable that comes with their phone. The cable still has good flexibility, just when you hold it in your hands you see and feel commercial quality craftsmanship.
