Highly detailed 1/48 scale assembly model kit of the Opel "Blitz" (Kfz.305), a World War II 3 ton 4 x 2 light cargo truck of the German Army. Originally developed in the mid 1930's, the Opel "Blitz" was perhaps the most famous German military vehicle of the Second World War. With over 100,000 built, the Opel "Blitz" saw service for the German Wehrmacht in almost every theater of operation throughout the war. This beautifully detailed 1/48 scale model kit of the Opel "Blitz" by Tamiya features: Vehicle parts produced by Italeri, one of the premier makers of soft-skin vehicle models. Features of the truck such as the suspension and cabin are all fully detailed. Realistic rubber tires. Three kinds of decals for German army vehicles and one for the a Luftwaffe vehicle are included. Open or folded rear cargo cover can be assembled. When displaying this Cargo Truck, having the rear cargo area loaded with separately available1/48 MM models and accessories can add greater realism.
