This is the winner in the firm hold category in my opinion. Though it delivers a firm hold, your hair is still able to be manipulated into desired style before it dries completely. It doesn't leave a sticky residue if you do a little at a time. Walmart price is very competitive and delivery is prompt.

Glued Is Right!
My daughter needed to style a wig for a Halloween costume. After doing a bit of research, I found that this is one of the brands that cosplayers use. Unlike some of the others, it was at a price point I could afford, so I went ahead and ordered it for her. She trimmed and styled a fairly inexpensive red wig and it worked very well for that. In fact, here we are, months later and the wig still has its style firmly in place. I don't think it's going to budge until she washes the hair spray out. I can't speak to the volume of this spray but based on how well it appears to hold the style on wigs, I'll bet it would work great if you got the hair good and poufed up and wanted it to stay that way. got2b was not lying when they named this stuff "Glued".
