This wool rug has a nice, thick pile. It is "shedding" but would imagine that happens with any new carpet. It was hard to tell the colors from the pictures, so we ordered two. This is the one we kept. The colors are very muted...a pale sky blue border with beige field. The flowers are a golden brown. Good price and quality.
