I make "chicken pot pies" for our family and freeze them so we can have them for several weeks. Using these aluminum ramakins and putting foil tightly over the top holds them perfectly without freezer burn. love them. I have been using them for years, and I am happy that I can get them without the plastic tops, because I don't need the tops :)
