There is a 14 dollar version of this at the mall inside Jcpenny, by Mineral Fusion, the la colors one is the same in that it feels identical on the lips , I believe the la colors one has a slightly different tint but that is subjective to who is looking at it and I do mean very slightly , overall I would say this is just as good as the expensive one except I have not looked into the ingredients on either to see if they are vegan cruelty free without any ingredients that would be harmful to the skin so just evaluating the look and feel alone it's a perfect dupe I mean you have to look at the name on your expensive one to be able to tell you're using the expensive or the generic
