Uncooked, powdery, not fit for a meal
The beans are largely uncooked. They are cooked just enough to allow you to chew them but they are not fully cooked: they are "sandy", chew like a bean filled with powder, definitely uncooked. We boiled them for two hours and there was no change; perhaps these are now fixed so that they can't be saved. We don't know. We should have listened to some of the reviews because they were right: pretty much inedible.
