Umami, the fourth taste, is underrepresented in most western cooking. Largely this is because western scientists never discovered it, but it has been recognized in eastern cooking for many centuries. Even when finally recognized in the West, it's primary usage in the form of MSG, gained it an unwarranted reputation. Today we know better, but too few have adopted it into their cooking. Dash is the least expensive and dependable way to utilize it.

I haven't used salt for years. I only use Accent.

Accent (MSG) is healthier than salt. It is definitely better for people (especially elderly people like me) to use MSG than regular table salt as it doesn't have the negative effect on blood pressure that salt has. In addition, it is "warmer" in taste and flavor adding more than just a sodium derivative to food. I think I've been using it for at least 8 years and probably more. I don't have any salt in my home any more.

Use as table salt on food

I buy this all the time and it really do spike of the taste in your food rather you fry, bake, broil, boil, even sprinkle some on your French fries once they are on your plate you want even need any salt. I sprinkle on my bake crinkle sweet potato fries, eggs, grits, rice and more.
