What do I do now?

I guess it took a while, but my lips have started to hate the "Classic spf 15" ChapStick. Over the past month my lip corners started cracking and haven't let up. It sucks. I don't know what to do now? I'm at a loss.

Long Time Patron of C.S. Medicated is Upset

My father used the old school original Chap Stick since long before I was born. Some of my earliest memories of my father were of the big ring of keys, red hankerchif, and tube of pink colored Chap Stick with the black label that he always carried in his right hand jean's pocket. I my self have been a loyal customer of Chap Stick Medicated since I was a kid in the early '90's. As kids back then did, I spent most of my time out doors, and as a result I had the worst lip health lol. My parents took me to the family doctor for a routine visit. Amongst the basic checks and other general concerns my parents expressed to the doctor that day, they were worried about the fact that they had been giving me Chap Stick to use but my lips weren't healing. Ole Doc Frederickson recommended they get Chap Stick Medicated for me to try. At the time the Medicated version was relatively new and my folks weren't aware of it before that. I remember I wasn't too fond of how it burned when I first tried it, my Mother had to make sure I was using it regularly. As my lips healed however, I soon learned its value and have used it every day since then. Even when friends would tease me about how they knew that I had a tube of Chap Stick some where on my person at any given time. I continued to carry Chap Stick because I knew the benefits it had to offer me. When people ask what is the one thing I would take if I was going to be stranded on a dessert island? Chap Stick has always been my first answer lol. Even Dad eventually switched to the Medicated. I never saw an end in sight until GSK bought the Chap Stick brand from Pfizer in 2019 and shortly there after changed the formula and cheapened up the packaging. I will say, that it does still seem to work, all things considered it serves the purpose, but not nearly so well as it used to. I have observed that since i ran out of the "old formula" Medicated that i have to apply this "new formula" 6 to 12 times a day to get the same results that the "old formula" would have given me with 4 to 8 applications in a day. I would however like to make a FORMAL COMPLAINT to the fact that each and every tube of the "GSK" Chap Stick that I have used has sharp rough edges around the applicator end of the tube where it comes in contact with the user's lip. I am certain this affects how often I have to reapply. More importantly however, this has caused so much damage to my lips that I am seriously considering changing brands. If the GSK corporation cannot get the quality of the "Chap Stick" brand back up to the standards that Pfizer had been maintaining for Chap Stick customers since 2009 and Robbins/Wyeth long before that, well then I will sadly have to leave behind one of the longest running brand loyalties that I have ever maintained. I sincerely hope that someone will take note that long time customers are not happy with the changes made to this product line. I understand that chapstick is probably not a very large market portion in the grand scheme. It is however a market in that once you have a product which your customers enjoy and that solves a problem for them, they will continue to be committed customers for the remainder of their life times. Often passing along those loyalties to their children and even grand children. Think long them here. Which will benefit the bottom line the most; Cutting manufacturing costs to save a dime righ now and losing your legacy customers? Or ensuring the high quality of your product and keeping those long term relationships with life time customers? .... I know which one I would choose, but what do I know, I'm just a red neck, truck driving, mid western farmer's son lol. I digress! I just wanted to put in my two cents. Thank you for hearing me out. God Bless.
