These are small, thin pads that would equate to reusuable pantyliners rather than menstrual pads. I do not think they could handle menstrual flow unless it was very light. Nevertheless, this is exactly what I wanted for feminine essential oil treatments. Just a few drops of tea tree oil, lavendar oil, or another medicinal oil on these pads when worn in the underwear can help soothe urinary infections, itching, or other bothers. I don't like to waste money on liners to throw away but also don't want to ruin underwear, so these washable pads are much appreciated. I hope they last for a while. They seem like real cotton which is important for any natural treatment.
